I’m Amanda Compton, FNTP, RWP (Functional Nutritionist and Restorative Wellness Practitioner).
I was sick and tired of being sick and tired. I had no energy and I couldn’t focus on anything. My vitality was missing and I was only 32. My hair was thinning and I felt awful. Some days I couldn’t get out of bed, but I had three small children to take care of and I had to find a way to function. I just wanted to feel better.
Then I met a functional doctor at a health seminar who told me about food sensitivities and that I could find wellness again. This opened my eyes to how nutrition and food sensitivities were affecting every area of my life.
After eliminating certain foods from my diet I started feeling better. This began my health and nutrition journey. I did some research and found hope in nutrition. I got excited and decided I wanted to help others. That’s when I went back to school to become a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner.
I now am armed with solid nutritional information that enables me to guide people through the dark and clouded feelings of ill health and show them how to gain optimal health through diet and lifestyle changes.
I have helped my clients identify food sensitivities and deficiencies and guided them through a nutritional course-correction that leaves them feeling better and more focused than they have in years.
My early health struggles were long and hard and I mourn over the time I lost being sick, but I realize now it was worth it. I am now able to help others feel better sooner and avoid the years of poor health and regret of lost joy in living due to nutritional deficiencies and food sensitivities
